Bernard
Hoffman FCCA FABRP
First
joined the firm in September 1967 and qualified
as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1969.
Immediately specialised in taxation matters
and helped set up the firm's first tax department.
Bernard
left Gerald Edelman in 1973 to go into commerce,
being appointed Finance Director of a chain
of retail menswear shops. Invited to rejoin
the firm from January 1984 and admitted to
partnership in 1985. He immediately set up
and headed the firm's first Insolvency Department
and in 1986 became a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner.
Currently
Bernard continues to head the Business Recovery
Department as well as servicing his own portfolio
of clients. He became a licensed football
agent and expanded into the field of sports
management.
