Richard Kleiner


Richard joined the firm in September 1978 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. He was admitted to the Partnership in July 1986 and was instrumental in jointly founding Gerald Edelman Plc, to formalise the provision of financial services and other tax efficient investments to clients of the Practice.

Richard now acts as the CEO of the firm and is heavily involved in the management.  In addition to dealing with a portfolio of clients, Richard also has substantial experience in fundraisings, floatations, mergers and acquisitions and is the lead partner in the firm’s Corporate Finance and Transaction Services Division.


Richard currently sits on the board of Avanti Capital Plc, an AIM-listed private equity company. In addition, Richard provides VAT expertise for the firm and also continues to advise on a broad cross-section of financial planning and investment matters to clients.


Away from work, Richard enjoys running (including marathons), skiing, playing football and golf together with the odd dog walk.
