Closure of our Edelman House office

As clients will know, for many years Gerald Edelman has had offices in both the City and North London. For some time, we have known that the lease of our North London office (at Edelman House) would expire on 28 August 2020.

During this enforced lock-down we have operated a working from home policy that has proved extremely successful. It has shown that with the technology available, we are able to carry on business seamlessly without any interruption to our clients.

We have therefore taken the decision, certainly for the foreseeable future, to close our North London office. Flexible working arrangements will continue to operate for our team, with hot desking and meeting spaces available at our City offices in Cornhill.

Following the closure, our office address for all communications will be 73 Cornhill, London EC3V 3QQ.

What this means for clients

For any clients who have companies using Edelman House as their registered office address, we will change this address prior to the office closure.

We have separately emailed all clients who use Edelman House as their registered office address to confirm the process.

Those clients happy for us to change their company’s registered office address from Edelman House to 73 Cornhill will not need to take any action other than to update their company’s stationery once the change has been made.

For any clients whose directors or PSCs are using Edelman House as their service address or who have Edelman House registered as their SAIL (Single Alternative Inspection address), we will also make the necessary Companies House filings to update these addresses.

Clients who use our Whetstone office to drop off records or indeed to have meetings, will be pleased to know that meeting room facilities will still be available in North London. Once we finalise arrangements for such facilities then we will of course notify you.
