Assisting my clients as their financial and business adviser, for me, means always being ready and available – especially when their businesses are encountering financial difficulties and uncertainty. I always endeavour to respond to my clients’ queries quickly and efficiently, and offer bespoke business advice intended to resolve their issues in the most tax efficient and commercially suitable way possible.

I have specialist knowledge in Enterprise Management Incentive (option) Schemes, VAT and Tax Valuations and assist my clients with managing their fiscal structures and long-term growth strategies. Having worked as an accountant in industry as well as in private practice, I understand the business challenges that my clients face, whether they are large corporates or sole practitioners, and use this experience to determine the best possible solutions for their circumstances.

If you’re interested…
I joined Gerald Edelman in 1996 having graduated with a degree in Business Studies and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1997. During my time with the firm, I have worked in both Audit and Business Services and was admitted to the partnership in 2006. I am both a QuickBooks certified ProAdviser and a Futrli Certified Business Adviser.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
I walked up a cliff leading to a view over Egyptian queen Nefertiti’s temple, which involved manoeuvring along a path just 10-inches wide with a 40-feet drop on one side. Looking back, I must have been out of my mind!

What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?
To take a hot air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara animal reserve in Kenya. The views would be spectacular and there’s no chance of running into a hungry lion up there!

If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be?
Clint Eastwood – I would love to hear him talk about all the legendary films he has worked on during his formidable career as an actor and director.

Who inspires you?
My father is my hero. He has been a great inspiration throughout my life and I admire his ability to never lose hope, even during the most difficult times.
