Back to all people
I’m a Manager within the Corporate Finance team at Gerald Edelman, which means I work with clients that are looking to buy a business, sell their business, or raise funds.
My role, predominantly, is to make an M&A process as smooth as possible for my clients, who will likely be going through a once in a lifetime transaction. Helping my clients succeed, and providing advice which can make a profound difference to the outcome of a deal, and ultimately my client’s future, is what motivates me to give 100% at work every day.
For me, the most exciting part of my job is getting to work with clients across a wide variety of industries and sizes, all with their own unique intricacies. Understanding that no two deals are the same is key to success, and I thrive on the diversity of the challenges that each new project brings. Whatever the project, building strong and trusted relationships with my clients is always my primary focus, ensuring a platform is set to deliver the best possible outcomes.
I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2017 and went straight into my first professional role as a consultant at Lloyds Banking Group. Following a brief stint there, I joined PWC, where I trained as a chartered accountant and worked with some amazing clients such as Tiffany, WHSmith and the All England Tennis Club to name a few. Wanting a change, and having recently reconnected with Nick Wallis (who I knew from a previous internship I completed during university), I joined Gerald Edelman at the beginning of 2022 in the Corporate Finance team and haven’t looked back since.
I have a bucket list as long as my arm, however I particularly want to spend an extended period of time travelling central and south America. My Spanish definitely needs some work before then though!
Everything has a way of working itself out – take your time, don’t rush, and try to enjoy the journey.
Gordon Ramsay, he’s cooking.
Time travel – I’d be winning the lottery and going on some very long holidays.
