Gerald Edelman advises Addtech Nordic AB on the acquisition of RTL Materials Ltd and Mechanical Power Transmission Ltd

We are delighted to announce that we have advised Addtech Nordic AB on the acquisition of RTL Materials Ltd (“RTL”) (completed in August 2026) and Mechanical Power Transmission Ltd (“Mechanical Power”) (completed in October 2026).

About Addtech Nordic AB

Addtech is a Swedish listed technical solutions group that comprises of 150 independent companies that sell high-tech products and solutions to customers primarily in the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors in around 20 countries.

About RTL

RTL, operating under the Rolatube brand, designs and produces lightweight, deployable mast systems and structural components using its proprietary bistable composite technology. Its products are used across defence, aerospace, surveillance and expeditionary communications applications, where portability and rapid deployment are critical requirements.

About Mechanical Power

Established in 1987, Mechanical Power, operating under the DePe Gear brand, produce high-precision gears for businesses in the UK, Europe and the US across major sectors including engineering, defence, aerospace and industrial.

DePe Gear is a high precision gear design and manufacturing specialist and serves a number of high-profile customers, including the Ministry of Defence, Transport for London, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin and Triumph.
