I want to sell my business - where do I start?
“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail” – a quote that has stuck with me from an early age, and could not be more true when considering an M&A transaction. Having worked on a vast number of deals, I ensure that all my clients, whether seller or buyer, maximise the potential to get deals completed and at the best possible value – hopefully exceeding their expectations!
My core focus is to provide market-leading advice to business owners on selling and buying businesses, always with the focus on delivering successful outcomes.
I graduated with a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management from the University of Nottingham in 2009 and subsequently joined the graduate scheme at one of the Big Four, working in the audit department. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and have worked in Deal Advisory since then. I have advised on many mid-market M&A transactions across a range of sectors, with a cumulative transaction value of well over £1 billion.
I now head up the award-winning Corporate Finance team at Gerald Edelman. The team won Corporate Finance Team of the Year at the South East Dealmakers Awards 2025, and I was honoured to have been awarded Dealmaker of the Year 2025.
