Transaction Services Senior Associate

The successful candidate will join a rapidly growing Transaction Services team, supporting a diverse client base across the lower mid-market. The role will focus on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, working closely with private equity, search fund, trade buyer, and lending institution clients to support acquisition and investment decisions. In addition to financial due diligence, the team undertakes valuation, and IPO-related advisory work, and the Senior Associate will gain exposure to these areas as part of their broader professional development.

What will the role entail?

Responsibilities

• Preparing and maintaining data packs and supporting schedules for due diligence engagements.
• Analysing historical financial performance, including revenue, margin, and cost trends.
• Reviewing and assessing working capital and net debt positions.
• Liaising with clients and target management teams.
• Assisting with drafting clear and concise reports and supporting documentation for both internal and external use.
• Providing coaching and on-the-job training to associates.
• Working collaboratively with other departments in the firm.
• Contributing to the preparation of financial models to support transaction analysis.
• Assisting with business development initiatives, including the preparation of proposals and attending networking events/ meetings.

Requirements

• Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
• Experience: At least two years of financial due diligence experience
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take ownership of work.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
