Gerald Edelman advises on the sale of leading artisan patisserie and desserts manufacturer

Gerald Edelman is delighted to announce that its Corporate Finance team has successfully advised the shareholders of a leading independent manufacturer of premium patisserie, cakes and desserts (the “Company”), on its sale to a leading foodservice group (the “Acquirer”).

The Company has grown from a small artisan bakery into a well-regarded manufacturer of over 300 product lines. Operating from a purpose-built facility, the business supplies customers across the foodservice, retail, and wholesale sectors, combining the quality and character of traditional, handmade baking with the capacity to fulfil large-scale commercial contracts.

The acquisition represents a compelling strategic fit, providing the Company with access to the Acquirer’s extensive distribution network, international expertise, and substantial resources to support the next phase of its growth.

Gerald Edelman acted as lead sell-side adviser to the shareholders of the Company throughout the transaction.
