Gerald Edelman is pleased to announce that its Corporate Finance team, in conjunction with One Voice Hospitality, has advised on the sale of House Café Ltd (“Riding House Cafés”), a premium restaurant group with three central London locations, to Brava Hospitality Group Limited (“Brava”).
Riding House Cafés, founded 23 years ago by its owner, Adam White, has become known for design-led venues and modern European all-day dining. The business operates three high-performing sites across London: Riding House Fitzrovia, Riding House Bloomsbury, and Rail House Victoria. Adam will remain with the business to drive the next phase of growth as they look to expand with the backing of Brava.
Brava Hospitality Group, backed by Cain International, is the operator behind Prezzo Italian and Jamie’s Italian (UK). The acquisition marks a significant expansion of the group’s hospitality portfolio, strengthens Brava’s central London presence, and supports the group’s strategy to grow formats that serve guests across multiple day-parts and occasions.
Gerald Edelman, in partnership with One Voice Hospitality, acted as lead sell-side advisers to Adam White and Riding House Cafés throughout the transaction. The deal marks another landmark transaction for Gerald Edelman and One Voice Hospitality, and builds on the strong reputation that they have built in the hospitality space.
Adam White, Founder and CEO of Riding House Cafés, commented:
“It’s been an incredible journey, supported by a brilliant team who are hungry for new challenges. Riding House Cafés have been an important part of our guests lives, which makes me very proud. I feel we made a difference in the London villages we inhabit. Brava has been a pleasure to work with throughout this transaction, and I am incredibly excited to see just how far we can develop the Riding House Cafés brand together.
The Gerald Edelman and One Voice Hospitality teams were exceptional throughout. They gave me clear, consistent advice at every stage and managed the process expertly, which was invaluable in securing the right deal for both the shareholders and the business as it embarks on its next chapter.”
Nick Wallis, Partner at Gerald Edelman, added:
“We’re delighted to have advised Adam on this transaction. Riding House Cafés is an iconic central London brand, much loved by its guests, and it’s been a pleasure to work alongside Adam and his team.
Brava represents an excellent partner to grow the business. With their deep industry knowledge and expertise, and with Adam staying on to lead, the group is well positioned to scale the brand while protecting the character that has defined its 23-year legacy.
This transaction marks another successful completion for our Corporate Finance team in the hospitality space, and another deal delivered in partnership with One Voice Hospitality.”
