Gerald Edelman’s Deal Advisory team advises on the sale of Taylor Mammon
Gerald Edelman is delighted to announce that its Deal Advisory team has advised the shareholders of Taylor Mammon, leading turnkey CBD formulator and product distributor, on the sale to U.S. CBD pioneer, Gencanna. Pricing and other deal terms have not been disclosed.
Taylor Mammon is a white label manufacturer and brand distributor of CBD-infused goods in the UK. Based in the U.S., GenCanna is a vertically integrated pioneer-producer of premium hemp-derived CBD and other cannabinoids in both bulk supply as well as in high-quality finished goods formulations.
The move culminates the evolution of a successful three-year relationship, in which GenCanna served, and will continue to serve, as Taylor Mammon’s primary source of CBD and other cannabinoids for infusion into brand products.
The acquisition comes on the heels of an 18-month initiative at Taylor Mammon to prepare for Novel Foods Application, a process GenCanna had been following and supporting along the way. The union with GenCanna has not only fast-tracked that compliance milestone, but now narrows the borders between the US and the UK, positioning Taylor Mammon as a full-service, vertically integrated, worldwide CBD gateway.
