Lynn is a Partner and Head of the Asian Division of top 50 accountancy firm Gerald Edelman. She has over 13 years of commercial and technical experience in various industries. Lynn specialises in advising businesses in setting up overseas subsidiaries, management accounts, financial controls, employee incentive scheme, R&D tax claim, EIS/SEIS scheme set up, corporate finance, business financing and tax strategy. She is also a specialist in creating business plans, financial modelling, valuation for firms of various sizes and purpose.

Lynn did her undergraduate and master’s degree in Manchester business school in international business, finance and economics and is a Chartered Management Accountant and ATT qualified tax advisor.

Noeleen Hammond Jones is the Deputy Head of LUMS Careers for Work Related Learning and the interim International Careers Manager with the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) Careers team, and Co-Chair of the AGCAS Internationalisation Task Group. She has worked in careers for over 11 years delivering a blended career service through a variety of platforms and technologies to engage the diverse international talent pool of students ranging from 4,500 MBAs globally to over 19,000 undergraduate and postgraduate EU & international students. She is an experienced International Employer Engagement Manager, liaising with organisations, agencies, SMEs and start-ups for all international recruitment needs. This has included developing business opportunities with organisations globally to create long term mutually beneficial relationships which result in projects such as internship programme development, leadership development, research collaborations and contributions to international employability and recruitment strategies.

Harvey joined the Student Engagement team in June 2021. He studied business management at St Mary’s University whilst also being President of the Business Enterprise society, so he understands the pressures and time strains university can have on all aspects of life.

Harvey loves engaging with all students and talking about the endless career opportunities here at ICAEW, whilst enlightening them about the ACA qualification.

Diane has 14 years experience at CIMA as a Manager in Student Recruitment looking after Universities and Colleges of Further Education across the UK and is passionate about linking education to employment and a professional qualification.

Her role involves building relationships with academics across all levels at universities to actively engage their students in promoting a career in accountancy. This can involve skills sessions, business games and short lecture visits with their students. It is very rewarding to be able to talk about how CIMA can help their career and how their degree fits in with the CIMA qualification. It is always great to see the look on a students face when they realise the value of what they are studying!

Another exciting part of Diane’s role is working with universities to enhance their degree structure through accreditation and partnerships.

Zion is an Audit Intermediate at MHA Moore and Smalley and is involved in a mixture of audit and accounts preparation engagements. Zion has been at the firm for just over a year after recently graduating from Lancaster University’s Management School in the Summer of 2022 and is currently in the process of completing the ACA qualification as an apprentice, with the aim to qualify in July 2025.

I always loved anything remotely to do Psychology ever since I was young. When the opportunity came up to do it for my A levels, I jumped at the chance and it exceeded my expectations, so picking it for my degree was a natural choice. As many other student/graduates, my plan was to become a chartered Psychologist and get into a graduate scheme, however the competition was so high for grad programs, and the time it would take to complete further study and then get clinical experience I found it tough, and I was motivated to start earning right away.

After graduating in 2015, I jumped into the world of talent as a recruitment consultant, to fulfil a passion for wanting to work with people and add value to their careers and lives in general.

Since then, I have worked my way up through the industry, gaining invaluable commercial skills all while earning and learning. I have been fortunate enough to work from some amazing businesses across both private and public sector, and have been able to combine my passion for education and technology with my current role here at Sparta Global.

Commercial product specialist turned digital strategist at Toyota, one of the world’s greatest automotive brands and companies. As a planning and strategy manager, my role is to leverage website and digital solutions to support the business in its transformation and objectives. During my free time, I’m a mental health volunteer and am also in the early stage of starting up a community-based business on blockchain and Web3 education.

Guy Watts, a Lancaster University graduate (BBA Management, 2017-2021), is part of Unilever's Future Leaders Program and is currently the National Account Manager for Unilever’s Homecare Business with Tesco.

I graduated from Lancaster University with a First-class degree in Management, Politics and International Relations. In my penultimate year, I undertook an industrial placement at Enterprise Rent-A-Car doing PR and Corporate Communications. In May 2022, I started the Shell Graduate Programme as a Supply Chain Commercial Specialist within the Contracting & Procurement function.

I am particularly passionate about enacting meaningful change in the world. In the long-term, I hope to contribute to the urgent issue of energy poverty within developing nations, particularly Africa.

Violet obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Birmingham, UK and currently serves as the team leader of overseas region at BOE Global Campus Recruitment department. Her primary responsibilities include building the relationship between overseas universities and enterprises, recruiting overseas Chinese students and enhancing the brand image of international employers.
