Experienced auditors

Our auditors draw on decades of experience in regulatory compliance, financial reporting and corporate governance, during which time we’ve worked closely with hundreds of directors and business owners across a wide range of industries.

Unlike other firms, we never treat the health and performance of your business as a tick-box exercise; instead, we analyse every aspect of your operations in fine detail before pinpointing areas that pose significant risks or opportunities. That’s why clients stay with us: because we think beyond compliance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you able to conduct an audit of my business remotely?

Our processes are risk-based and fully automated, which means we’re able to conduct most, if not all, of the audit remotely. However, wherever possible we find being on-site provides further opportunities to add value and develop better relationships throughout our respective teams.

What benefits does an audit provide beyond compliance?

Whilst an audit is often needed in order to comply with statutory requirements, or possibly as part of a finance arrangement, we view the audit process as a crucial starting point to fully understand your business structure and activities. Once an audit has been successfully completed, we are then well placed to offer strategic advice on wider tax issues, corporate structure, internal controls and your future plans for the business.

Furthermore, conducting an audit provides management and shareholders with the knowledge that the information in the company's financial statement has been checked, verified and confirmed as accurate. This assurance allows stakeholders to make operational decisions based on reliable data.

What makes Gerald Edelman’s audit services different?

As a mid-tier practice with reputable high-level skills and resources, we are able to deliver audits which are fully compliant with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) whilst also offering a truly personal, partner-led service. In many respects, we offer the best of both worlds and always work with our clients’ long-term objectives in mind.

How are your fees structured?

We offer full transparency over our fees and aim to fix the pure compliance fees based on the information we receive from our clients, providing that this information is delivered in a timely manner.
