Gerald Edelman’s experts shortlisted for seven prestigious awards

As we embark on a milestone year – our 80^th as a leading accountancy firm – we are thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted in seven categories at the South East Dealmakers Awards 2026, a significant recognition of our people’s hard work.

A recognition of team and individual brilliance

This year’s shortlistings reflects the depth and breadth of talent across our firm. Our entire Corporate Finance team and Transaction Services team have been singled out in the respective ‘team of the year’ categories. Jack Abrahams and Thomas Simpson have been individually shortlisted as ‘emerging dealmaker of the year.

A further three shortlistings were awarded for specific, high-profile deals that our hard-working teams completed over the past 12 months. These included a sub £10 million deal with Metcor Group, a sub £10 million deal with Whiskey Me and a £10-40 million deal with Edge Medical.

It is always an honour to be included in awards that celebrate the success, achievements and commitments of firms in our sector, especially those across the South East.

Our Corporate Finance team comprises of 30 people and has successfully advised on more than 32 transactions in the past 12 months with an aggregate deal value of more than £400 million.

These shortlistings ensure that as Gerald Edelman scales and grows, our people-centric culture, built over eight decades of organic growth, recruitment, and strategic acquisitions, remains a key differentiator for both our teams and clients.

We are excited to be attending the event at Guildford’s G Live venue on 19 March 2026, when we will be celebrating the year that marks our 80^th birthday.
