I enjoy finding practical solutions to complex and challenging issues using my experience. I am thoughtful while assessing scenarios keeping a calm and composed demeanor, not jumping to conclusions.

My clients and stakeholders trust and rely on me as a subject matter expert in my field. Maintaining openness when it comes to providing professional opinions, building strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders helps in strengthening that trust.

I lead the firm’s audit quality agenda including the ongoing monitoring activities in relation to the system of quality management, providing audit and accounting technical support, and identifying the training needs of the audit department. I am part of the firm’s PIE and Ethics Committees, and a key part of my role is to regularly report to the Management Board on audit quality matters. I also assist the firm’s Audit Compliance Partner in regulatory and compliance matters.

I graduated from Delhi University in India and started my career at one of the big four firms in 2007. I moved to the UK in 2014 and specialised in financial services sector, auditing mid to large sized private asset managers, funds, and listed investment trusts. After 12 years of audit experience, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a regulatory role, focusing on audit quality reviews across listed and non-listed companies before joining Gerald Edelman in 2023.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?

One year into my intense weight training I was able to do a back squat weighing 135kgs (I have a video to prove, ask me)!

What is the most exciting thing on your bucket list?

I am fascinated by the wilderness and breathtaking scenery of the Canadian Rockies and Alaska. I would love to do a family holiday there one day!

What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?

People will always have an opinion about you, do not let that bother you and do not try to fit in, be yourself.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

The superpower to fix anything and everything.
