I support clients by taking the time to understand their business and what matters most to them. I aim to make VAT feel manageable by explaining complex issues clearly, in a practical way and being available whenever they require guidance. I stay proactive in spotting potential risks or opportunities and work with clients to find solutions that will help their day-to-day operations. By being friendly, reliable and easy to work with, I try to build relationships where clients feel supported and confident in every VAT conundrum.

I am currently an Assistant Manager in the VAT team. I share the compliance workload, preparation of VAT returns including partial exemption calculations, VAT registration applications etc. I am also leading the international VAT launch, responsible for registering clients for IOSS (Import One Stop Shop) and OSS (One Stop Shop) for businesses outside the EU who regularly conduct business within the EU. I compile 13th Directive claims in the UK and EU for businesses who incur costs within these countries but can’t regularly reclaim the VAT. And have experience in EU registrations, which is something I would like to explore within Gerald Edelman and launch at a later date. Finally, I assist with advisory queries that come in from businesses or colleagues.

I got into VAT when I was living in The Netherlands, I moved there for the sport I was playing called softball. One of my teammates introduced me to the CEO of Global VAT Compliance – this is where my career started. I did two years of international VAT there before I moved back to the UK after COVID, then I joined Crowe UK where I worked for almost five years. The summer of 2025 is when I joined Gerlad Edelman.
