I work as part of the Transaction services team where our work involves advising on many different forms of transactional work, which includes:
- Supporting buy-side acquisition processes through financial due diligence services and advisory work;
- Business valuations for various different types of scenario planning; and
- Supporting companies going through an IPO process to ensure that they are adequately equipped to take this step.
We are also involved with various ad-hoc advisory work, such as implementing management incentive schemes and providing support for navigating complex IFRS requirements.
As every client is unique, my role is to ensure that we fully understand their requirements and work with them to provide tailored solutions. This allows us to provide objective and succinct advice for whatever engagement we are tasked with.

As I was coming to the end of my training contract, an opportunity came to join the Transaction Services team and I have seen the department grow from an initial three members of staff to now around twenty people.
