London accountancy firm and business advisors, Gerald Edelman, has signed a strategic alliance with Industrial Investment Group (“IIG”).
The alliance will see IIG build an Asset Finance and Leasing platform under the Gerald Edelman banner. This will allow businesses to access all financial services, under one roof.
Gerald Edelman’s ethos is to think beyond compliance. Offering leasing and debt advisory services will enhance Gerald Edelman’s service offering; building a new force in asset finance and providing businesses with flexible, fast and efficient ways to raise funds.
John Lutterloch CEO of IIG stated today: “Over recent years we have partnered with various London stockbrokers in order to offer both debt and equity solutions to our clients. As we reach our 25th anniversary it is time to move on to offer a wider range of Financial Services. When I first met with Richard Kleiner, CEO of Gerald Edelman, I was immediately impressed by his outlook and the company’s business strategy. The headline on their website states “If you're looking for just an 'accountant', you're in the wrong place – because we think beyond accountancy!
Many of the largest accountancy firms now offer a wide range of corporate and financial services and we see our combined skills as an excellent platform for future growth”.
Richard Kleiner CEO of Gerald Edelman stated: “The approach at Gerald Edelman is to deliver a suite of services to our clients and others. As John mentions, our philosophy is to think ‘beyond accountancy’; expanding our service offering to include asset and debt advisory services, enables us to do just this and deliver more strategic advice to our clients.
Industrial Investment Group was the perfect fit in supporting Gerald Edelman in delivering this service and helping us fulfil our ‘beyond compliance’ vision. On meeting John and understanding his philosophy and strategy to “offer the highest level of expertise and excellence in asset finance”, we felt that the alliance was appropriate and the perfect opportunity to deliver our clients and others with such a service.
IIG’s main operating subsidiary D S Finance & Leasing Ltd has changed its name to
GE Asset Finance & Leasing Limited and will be operating from Gerald Edelman’s London headquarters at 73 Cornhill, London EC3V 3QQ.
