During my many years of working in the accountancy industry, my philosophy has always been to ensure that my clients know I’m only a phone call away. Working across both personal and corporate tax, I explain the subtleties and nuances of the tax system in a way that can easily be understood and provide my clients with concise, sound advice based on up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation.

Tax savings can only be achieved if an appropriate course of action is planned in advance, so I take a proactive approach and try to help my clients to structure their financial affairs in a tax efficient manner. I also provide advice on voluntary disclosure schemes, inheritance tax, trust taxation and estate planning, as well as preparation and electronic filing of personal, partnership or corporate tax returns. I am an experienced specialist in representing both individuals and companies in HMRC tax investigations including those in which tax fraud is in question.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1985 and have been with Gerald Edelman since the acquisition of my previous employer in the same year. During my time here, I have overseen the expansion of the firm’s Tax department, having been admitted to the partnership in 1993.
