We are delighted to announce that the Gerald Edelman Corporate Finance team has advised the Envases Group (Envases) on the acquisition of Nepak Limited, a closure and component solutions company supplying products to metal packaging producers in the UK and abroad.
About Envases
Envases is a world leader in global packaging solutions, with 71 facilities located across four continents.
About Nepak
Nepak Ltd is the foremost closure company in the UK, serving general line can and drum industries for over 40 years. Gerald Edelman acted as a buy-side financial adviser, performing detailed financial and taxation due diligence and a full SPA review in relation to the transaction.
Chris Paelinck at Envases said:
“The team at Gerald Edelman supported us throughout the transaction, liaising efficiently with both our internal team and our legal representatives. Their report was provided in a timely manner and covered all key aspects. From the start to the end of the acquisition process we felt confident that we were receiving the expert knowledge and support that we needed to support our decision-making. Excellent service all round, and we would highly recommend Gerald Edelman accountancy and would engage their services again for any future acquisitions.”
Carl Lundberg, Partner at Gerald Edelman, commented:
“It was a pleasure to advise the European headquarters of Envases, based in Denmark, on this strategic acquisition through their UK vehicle. The respective teams at Gerald Edelman and both Envases and Nepak worked hard to make a success of this transaction. We look forward to assisting Envases on future acquisitions.”
