I work with small business owners across a variety of sectors, providing both compliance, taxation and advisory services tailored to the specific needs of my clients. I have a particular interest in assisting start-up businesses. During my career to date I have been fortunate to experience working with businesses ranging from the very large and highly regulated to the newly incorporated, gaining a broad spectrum of knowledge along the way.
For me to utilise this knowledge to best help my clients, it is vital to learn the needs and wants of business owners and develop an understanding of how the business operates. Accountants spend large parts of their day looking at past data, it is vital to be forward looking to provide clients with the advice they need.

What’s the most daring thing you have done?
Back in 2017 I was lucky enough to spend time travelling around the US. I managed to see both coasts, 7 cities (New York, Washington, Boston, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco & Las Vegas) and several different sporting arenas. I do regret the 44-hour train ride across country from Chicago to Seattle, but other than that it’s a fantastic way to spend six weeks.
What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Enjoy every minute, and don’t worry, England will win a penalty shootout again!
If you could have dinner with anyone who would it be?
Julius Caesar. I am particularly in awe of the Romans. It is fascinating to think of all they were able to achieve and the legacy they’ve left on our society today.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to teleport, it would be an ideal way to avoid the underground.
