Priyesh Dhana

Associate Director - Deal Advisory

“I work with clients to facilitate growth through M&A and fundraising. It is rewarding to execute complex processes that can generate significant value.”

I work closely with clients, building relationships and obtaining a robust understanding of their businesses, to deliver outcomes that enhance value.

As a Deal Advisory Manager, I oversee the buy- and sell- side processes of business acquisitions and support businesses in securing funding for growth and development. These tasks can often be time-consuming and overwhelming for business owners; by managing these processes, my clients have the time to remain focused on the day-to-day operations of their business.

Additionally, I provide clients with pre-sale planning support to ensure that businesses are in the most favourable condition prior to a transaction. This enhances saleability while maximising exit value potential.

I am originally from New Zealand and graduated from the University of Auckland with two Bachelor’s degrees, Commerce and Property, in 2012. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 and became a CFA Charterholder in 2017.

Whilst in New Zealand, I worked on a number of deals across a range of sectors, including food & beverage, facilities management, and industrial supplies. Since moving to London, much of my work has focused on deals within the e-commerce and leisure sectors. Recently, I was involved in managing the buy-and-build strategy for a reputable e-commerce operator, helping to add value by accelerating the expansion of my client’s business.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done?
In May 2018, I moved from New Zealand to the other side of the world, on my own, with nowhere to live and no job lined up.
